Answer: Except for non-modifiable risk factors (age, sex, and genetic inheritance), all risk factors that trigger atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease over time can be avoided -or at least delayed onset or severity- if habits are adopted healthy lifestyles from the early ages of life.
