The knee joint is the largest joint of the body and has a complicated structure that helps us function in everyday life as well as in other contexts, such as sports and the like. It is not uncommon for pain in the knee to occur, among other things, in connection with sports activities such as running.

Knees – Built for high load

Our knees are designed to withstand heavy loads, including most of your body weight being carried by the knees, every step we take. The knee joint consists of different parts:

Running knee and jumping knee – What is it?
