What is a back shot?

What you can do yourself

Being active and moving is the key to quickly getting rid of a back shot. When the first and most painful days are over, shorter walks can be good as well as simple strength training exercises. Strength training and exercise are what prevent future back shots as it strengthens the back muscles. Some become afraid of moving and become bedridden for too long. The spine gets stiffer from not moving and it aggravates the spine.

However, when you are in motion for the first time, you should avoid heavy lifting and excessive turning movements. Trying to live as usual and treating the pain with non-prescription pain tablets so you can walk, cycle and work out quickly is the most effective self-help against back shots.

Living with a back shot

Often suffering from a back shot or back pain is unfortunate, and here are some points to keep in mind during and after the back shot:
